Residus

RESIDUS was founded in Stockholm, Sweden 2017 by Elin Mohlander and Evalena Jonsson with a vision to create ethical, long lived, high quality fashion. 

The core of the brand is as the name indicates based on industry residue. Estimates show that the production of the fabric makes up 80% of a garments environmental impact. At RESIDUS we are always on the hunt for high quality leftovers to actively reduce industry waste and minimise our products ecological footprint. Soon after launching our first leftover products we started to develop our traceable basics collection. High quality pieces made from sustainable fibers and developed through certified and responsible supply chains. 

In 2020 we introduced QR-codes in the care label of all of our garments showing our consumer all factories involved in making the garment, from raw material in the fiber to dying of the fabric and manufacturing of the product. To us it is important that our customers can see and feel secure that we and our factories take responsibility for both the environmental impact and the people involved in making a Residus product.
